The New England Dressage Association (NEDA) Spring Symposium will be featuring an educational experience with Bettina Drummond. Each day will expand upon the previous day’s lessons before giving a thorough understanding of the French training system and how it plays into modern day dressage as well as the similarities and differences between German and French training. This event is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from someone with this immense background and knowledge and will feature demos in hand, riding, musical kurs and more.

Since its inception in 1993, the Live Oak Combined Driving Event has become one of the premier Combined Driving Events in North America. Since 1995, the Event has hosted Selection Trials for both the United States and Canadian Equestrian Teams and in 1998, was granted international sanctioning by the Federal Equestre Internationale (FEI). There will be a Trade Show, Car Show, Coaching Exhibition and 10K race all taking place through the course of the weekend.

The concept of a World Equestrian Games is for all the FEI disciplines to decide their World Championships at one time and place, and in 1990 the first Games were underway. In similar fashion to the Olympics, countries around the world compete every four years for respective medals and titles in their discipline. In 2010 the games leave Europe for the first time and come to the United States to the Kentucky Horse Park where, for the first time, Para Dressage, the newest FEI Discipline will be competed together with Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Combined Driving, Reining, Endurance and Vaulting.

The New England Dressage Association (NEDA) Fall Weekend Symposium will be featuring an educational experience with Steffan & Shannon Peters. Steffen is a three time Olympian and has an impressive background on which he will be using during the educational portion of the program. Shannon is also a Grand Prix rider and trainer who will also be in attendance as a clinician. This event will also highlight the year end celebration for NEDA members.

Each year hundreds of local and international equine practitioners flock to the annual convention of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). They are given the opportunity to advance their medical skills, update their practice models and learn how to volunteer their veterninary expertise to make a difference in the world. Each year they take new strides toward improving the health and livelihood of horses.
